For several months, I lived in Huanchaco, Peru – a small fishing and tourist town along Peru’s Northern Coast. One of my favorite memories (although looking back, probably not the safest!) was sitting on my surfboard with a few friends just past where the waves would break and watching the sun go down. This shawl is inspired by the quieting of the waves that I always felt happened just as the sun hit the horizon.
