“Waves” combines the ancient symbolism of the circle representing the cycles of life, and the crest of a wave to remind us that life is full of both peaks and troughs. Like the ebb and flow of the oceans, life constantly reshapes us. All waves eventually pass. I was inspired by the idea of balance and the ocean, and our need to remember the deep when we are riding high on the waves, and to think of the peaks when we are struggling in the deep.
