Waveshare ESP32-S3-A7670E-4G is a versatile and high-performance microcontroller development board designed for advanced IoT applications. It features a built-in A7670E 4G communic ation module, an OV-series camera interface, TF card slot, RGB LED, 18650 battery holder (battery not included), battery voltage monitoring IC, solar charging interface, and a wide range of peripheral interfaces. At its core, the board integrates the ESP32-S3R2 chip, which includes low-power 2.4GHz WiFi and Bluetooth 5.0 LE, along with 16MB external Flash and 2MB PSRAM. It also supports hardware encryption, a random number generator, HMAC, and digital signature modules, ensuring robust IoT-grade security. To enable mobile connectivity, the board is equipped with the A7670E Cat-1 4G module, supporting LTE and 2G networks, GNSS positioning (GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS), voice calls, and SMS. A USB switching IC and DIP switches allow seamless toggling between the ESP32 and A7670E USB interfaces, making it easy to connect to a PC for dial-up networking or module debugging. The board supports USB and solar charging, with real-time battery capacity monitoring and protection circuitry. The 18650 battery holder (battery not included) also supports external 3.7V lithium batteries via the VBAT pin header, with reverse polarity protection. It offers rich expansion options, including a 38PIN header, camera interface, TF card slot, and USB port. Multiple DIP switches allow you to control camera power, switch USB channels, and selectively power down circuits to reduce energy consumption. The kit includes a high-precision GNSS ceramic antenna, OV2640/OV5640 camera, mini speaker, and acrylic case, making it ideal for rapid development of smart home systems, outdoor monitoring, or portable 4G WiFi solutions.
