These Cardigans are made from 100% Baby Alpaca fibre and are made for us in New Zealand and designed for New Zealand sizes. Not only do they look beautiful they are soft and silky to wear. Alpaca is a soft silky and durable fibre with unique thermal properties due to microscopic air bubbles found inside the fibre. These bubbles allow the user to “breath” through the fibres on hot days and in much the same way, to retain body heat in cold climates. Alpaca fibre is hypoallergenic making it suitable for those who cannot wear Merino and it is estimated to be approximately 30% warmer compared to Merino for the same weight. Show more
