Wax resist is a well known watercolour technique that I have to say, I don’t use very often. However it can be useful for effects like light on water, bark on trees or anywhere you might want to create texture. The results can be a bit unpredictable, but you can get some great effects, so it’s well worth trying out and having a bit of fun with. Show more
