You choose the flavour, the filling, the frosting, and the design. Buttercream or fondant? Fresh flowers or sugar roses? Classic white or bold colours? I’ll help you create something that feels like you. What’s in a wedding cake? Sponge – vanilla, chocolate, red velvet, lemon, carrot, coconut, fruitcake – any flavour you like. I can do different flavours for each tier. Filling – raspberry jam, lemon curd, strawberry compote, chocolate ganache, salted caramel, or a silky buttercream. Frosting – smooth buttercream, cream cheese, or fondant. White, ivory, blush, or any colour that matches your theme. Decoration – piped rosettes, sugar flowers, fresh blooms, a textured ruffled finish, a glossy drip, or a simple, elegant naked cake. What about dietary needs? I can make gluten‑free, dairy‑free, nut‑free, and vegan wedding cakes. Just let me know – I’ll work out a recipe that tastes just as good. How far in advance? Wedding cakes need planning. I recommend ordering at least 4–6 weeks ahead, but for busy summer months or intricate designs, give me 2–3 months. I’ll book a tasting session (free for weddings) so you can try flavours and talk through designs. Delivery and setup I deliver and set up your cake at your venue – across Bromley, Downham, Grove Park, Sydenham, Catford, Bellingham, and further if needed. I’ll make sure it’s level, stable, and photo‑ready before I leave. What does it cost? Every cake is different. Prices start from around £120 for a small two‑tier (feeds 20–30) and go up depending on size, design, and delivery distance. I’ll give you a clear quote before any work starts.
