Key Features & Specifications: Premium English Bridle Leather: Offers the same superior feel and longevity as professional horse tack, remaining supple and easy to clean even after exposure to mud and water. Nickel-Plated Brass Hardware: Features corrosion-resistant spikes and spots designed to withstand moisture and sweat without rusting, maintaining a polished finish in outdoor environments. Doubled and Stitched Construction: Engineered for maximum strength and resilience, providing the heavy-duty durability required for large working breeds and guardian dogs. Center-Hole Sizing: Measured to the middle hole to provide two inches of adjustment in either direction, ensuring a perfect fit regardless of seasonal coat changes. Tapered 2-Inch Design: Provides a wide, supportive fit on the neck for protection against predators, while tapering to 1 inch at the buckle to reduce bulk under the chin. Finished and Darkened Edges: Expertly smoothed edges prevent the leather from rubbing or irritating the skin, a critical feature for short-haired breeds common in stable environments. Chrome-Plated Buckle and D-Ring: High-quality, polished hardware provides a secure attachment point for leashes and tags while resisting the wear and tear of daily farm use. Frequently Asked Questions: Q: Will the spikes and hardware rust if my dog gets wet on the trail?A: No. The Weaver Pet Spike Collar is built for the elements, featuring nickel-plated brass spikes and chrome-plated hardware specifically chosen for their corrosion-resistant properties against rain, sweat, and mud. Q: How do I ensure the collar isn't too heavy or bulky for my dog?A: While the 2-inch width provides maximum durability and a classic "guardian" look, the leather is tapered to 1 inch at the buckle. This ensures the strength of a wide collar without restricting your dog's breathing or movement during activity. Item Number/SKU: 06-1460-21
