Fasteners for wedi Vapor 85 and Building Panels The wedi® Tabless Fastener Kit includes coated screws and steel washers for fastening wedi Vapor 85 Building Panels and 1/8" or 1/4" wedi Building Panels in flooring applications. The fasteners are designed for installation into wood framing and light-gauge metal framing up to 20 gauge. Coated Screws and Steel Washers Each kit contains 100 coarse-thread 1-5/8" Phillips head screws with an ACQ-compliant ceramic coating and 100 treated steel washers. The washers integrate the screw head and provide a solid fastening surface with reduced potential for deformation. Fastener Quantity for Walls and Ceilings Plan for approximately one screw and washer per square foot of wedi Building Panel on standard wall installations. Ceiling installations require approximately two fasteners per square foot.
