This 'Surf' and VW camper van enamel mug was inspired by my memories of childhood times spent travelling in our VW camper along the coasts of France, South West England and South W
ales. With a mixture of real and fanciful images from memory, this design represents the simplistic beginnings of my outdoor adventuring as a child, which I still enjoy today. 'Surf' is one of six of designs in the 'Weekend Explorer' collection. Hand illustrated by me in a simple colour block design the 'Weekend Explorer' collection also includes 'Beach', 'Lake', 'Ski', 'Tent' and 'Boat', all minimal and evocative. These mugs are perfect for taking along on weekend getaways... nothing better than a warming drink after a good surf, the lid will keep your drink of choice warm and sand free!
