The much misunderstood dandelion! I've heard a variety of possible etymological accounts for the name (e.g. 'danse de lion', for it's lion's mane-like flower; 'dents de lion' for the lion's teeth-like shape of the flowers). Anyway, this is delicious. It's also a limited edition, being fermented in one of our smaller 'experimental' tanks, but this one is set to graduate to one of the larger tanks next year. Gentle honey flavour with a floral finish. MEDIUM. 15.0% ABV 70cl bottle, stopper cork sealed in wax. NOTE: We use a weak sulphite solution when cleaning/sterilising our bottles and this may leave a trace of sulphites in the mead. Fermentation can also generate sulphites naturally. Therefore, anyone likely to haven allergic reaction to sulphites should proceed with caution. STORE UPRIGHT IN A COOL PLACE. SERVE LIGHTLY CHILLED. OPEN AND ALLOW TO BREATHE BEFORE SERVING.
