Corylus avellana 'Wepster' Prohibited from shipping to Oregon. Wepster is a very productive and flavorful nut, developed for the chocolate and nut industry, that ripens early in th e season. It is newly developed by OSU and named for the nut tree pioneering Wepster family. It blooms early-midseason and McDonald, Wepster and Polly-O are excellent pollinizers. The vigorous, open-shaped, completely blight-resistant tree, is easily maintained at 10' tall, requires little training and is a reliable producer.
