In his text works, Lukas Glinkowski picks up quotes, sayings, and slogans that the artist encounters in feature films, music texts, literary works, or the social media. Glinkowski tears the various text fragments out of their original context and places them in new, sometimes cynical, sometimes humorous contexts. The edition "Just Keep Swimming" is released on the occasion of his monograph. For it, he resorts to a specially designed typography, which he places on an acrylic mirror surface and adds colorful gradients, each applied by hand in oil paint.
