Bilder und einige Skulpturen At the centre of this practice is the stain. More than accident: operator. The crude, excessive, even ugly, enters the image as a force. Surfaces are s meared, broken, or overworked, allowing the painting to remain open, unstable. It produces its own precision. It brings together paintings and sculptural references without resolving their differences, allowing the work to remain in a state of active contradiction.
