Taking fully aged Westward American Single Malt and aging for up to an additional year in Deschutes Stout Casks creates this beautifully rich malt whiskey with notes of milk chocol ate, toasted pecans, dark cocoa, hazelnuts with a soft and, dare I say, insanely “smooth” finish. If you were to blind taste 20 different whiskies, this is the one that you cannot get wrong, this is truly one of a kind. Not overdone at all, this whiskey shows great balance of the chocolate notes from the stout while maintaining the signature malt characteristics.
