ABOUT THE PAINTING Portrays our first vacation together with our son. Actually only the two hours midday break I had to myself on the beach- where I had for the first time the opportunity to fully reflect over and bridge the change of becoming a mother. I used the huge foaming waves meeting with the shore and different shades of sand and stone as well as the color of sunkissed skin and mixed it with the beauty and recreation I experienced inside and out. It was during these hours the idea was conceived.
