The WH-D8 is a compact active subwoofer — the smallest in Wharfedale’s subwoofer range, designed to add deep bass to a compact stereo or home cinema system without dominating the r oom. A sealed-box 8" (200 mm) long-throw driver, powered by a built-in 70 W amplifier, delivers tight, controlled low end.Covering a 40 – 120 Hz response with 150 W of peak power and up to 105 dB output at 1 m, its sealed enclosure prioritises accuracy and speed over sheer volume. An adjustable low-pass filter, phase inversion and auto on/off make it easy to integrate, with stereo RCA and mono LFE inputs.It is the entry point to our subwoofer range; the WH-D10 and SW models go deeper and louder.
