The Whale Clock Pattern has lots of detail to be scrolled. The whale is swimming with coral underneath and a clock inserts resting on the coral. All of this is scrolled out on 1/2" to 5/8" thick material and mounted on a base using thicker material.The Whale plan has three sizes to fit either the 1 7/16 inch or 2-inch clock inserts. The Completed Whale Specifications: Large Desk Mount - 9 3/4 inches wide x 7" high. A 2-inch clock insert needs a 1 7/8" hole with a 7/32-inch mounting depth. 2 1/4 inches wide x 12 inches long. Medium Desk Mount - 7 1/4 inches wide x 5 1/4 inches high. A 2-inch clock insert needs a 1 7/8" hole with a 7/32-inch mounting depth. Base - 2 inches wide x 9 1/4 inches long. Small Desk Mount - 6 1/2 inches wide x 4 1/4 inches high. 1 7/16 inch clock insert needs a 1 3/8 inch hole size with 7/32 inch mounting depth. Base - 2 inches wide x 7 3/4 inches long. This scroll saw pattern is full size. You will receive the plan printed on paper. We recommend that you make a copy to cut out with your scroll saw and use the original for reference.
