Designed using trickle-down technology from Wharfedale's flagship Elysian series, it offers a warm, refined, and expansive sound signature without the high-end audiophile price tag. Key Features & Upgrades 3-Way Driver Layout: Unlike typical 2-way bookshelf speakers, the EVO 5.2 isolates low, mid, and high frequencies using a 6.5" woven Kevlar woofer, a dedicated 2" soft-dome midrange, and a fast 35×70 mm Air Motion Transformer (AMT) tweeter. Bigger AMT & Enhanced Damping: The updated AMT tweeter features natural-fiber damping and elastomer faceplates to smooth out lower treble, eliminating harshness while retaining detail and airiness. Tri-Directional Bass Port: Utilizes Wharfedale's Slot-Loaded Profiled Port (SLPP) system, firing downward into a base plinth that vents to the left, right, and rear.
