Initially a parody of contemporary artist Jeff Koons whose work sold for nearly $60m at auction, these cheeky and rebellious hand-painted sculptures by Whatshisname began to adopt the behaviour of real dogs; modelled after his own three pets. Consequently, the aim of this piece is to evoke pure joy and happiness by mixing the vibrant colours with the natural yet hilariously exaggerated behaviour of dogs. This shiny sculpture was sprayed in five different layers in order to build the strong red colour. The raw humour and joy evoked, and the magic ruby tone makes this sculpture the perfect addition of colour to any space.
