The concentrated liquid applies directly to stained areas for targeted rust stain removal. Rust Stain Treatment for Colorfast Clothing For clothing, test the fabric for colorfastness before use. Dampen the stain with water, apply a few drops of Rust Stain Remover, and rinse thoroughly with cold water after the stain disappears. Clothing should then be machine washed and dried before wearing. Safe for Pipes and Septic Systems The formula is safe for pipes and septic systems when used as directed. It is specifically formulated for rust stains and is not intended as a general-purpose rust remover. Surface and Cleaner Restrictions Do not use on bathtubs, countertops, stainless steel, glass, or surfaces not identified in the product directions.
