Our whipped tallow is a nourishing cloud like balm that is best used as an all over moisturizer. Infused with organic herbs & botanicals to nourish and soften skin. The use of tallow is rooted in a nose-to-tail philosophy. An approach that honors the whole animal by utilizing what would otherwise be discarded. It’s a more conscious, respectful way of sourcing that aligns with traditional, ancestral practices. A note about tallow and your skin ~ Tallow can be deeply nourishing and supportive, but it’s also rich in oleic acid, something that is too heavy for inflammatory skin conditions like acne, rosacea, and highly reactive skin, especially on the face. It’s not a one-size-fits-all ingredient. Moving forward, I see it as a beautiful, restorative moisturizer for the body have the name change from whipped tallow “face cream” to simply whipped tallow. If you’ve had great results using tallow on your face, I won’t stop you ;) but if you tend to get breakouts or have reactive skin, I would consider using our Calming Face Oil ~ Luma.
