This Dishwasher Floor Mounting Kit helps secure your dishwasher to the floor to prevent shifting, movement and noise during the cleaning cycle. If you have countertops made of granite or other materials that prevent you from anchoring the dishwasher to them, installing this accessory may alleviate this issue. This is a universal accessory that can be used across several major brands; check to see if your model number is compatible. Installing this accessory will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the dishwasher and novice repair experience. You must unplug the dishwasher or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also turn off the dishwasher's water supply before you begin. Helpful Tips: The floor mounting screws and washers are not included with this part and will need to be purchased locally. Be sure to select screws for your specific floor construction (concrete, wood, etc.). We also recommend using affresh® Dishwasher Cleaner* (item W10282479) to help reduce limescale and mineral build-up that can be unsightly and affect your dishwasher’s performance. *affresh® brand products are owned and distributed by Whirlpool Corporation.
