This 2400W Range Bake Element is located at the bottom of the oven and provides constant heat inside the appliance during the baking process. This part features a male spade connec tion with push-on wire terminals and is designed to be used with select range brands, including Whirlpool®, Amana®, Maytag® and KitchenAid®; check to see if your model number is compatible. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the appliance and novice repair experience. You must unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker before installing this part.
