This Damascus Steel wedding ring is inlaid Whiskey Barrel, from a brewery in Colorado. The art of making Damascus Steel rings is derived from ancient Japanese tactics of forge weld ing two grades of steel together, and etching them in acid (in this case ferric chloride) to create a grain like aesthetic. Each ring is unique, as is each wearer.All wood inlaid rings are stabilized in a vacuum, and infused with acrylic resin to create the most durable ring possible. I finish each ring with pressurized marine, boat epoxy to insure they are as water resistant as possible. We stabilize and seal all timber in a vacuum with acrylic resin to make them as rugged, and durable as possible. All rings are finish in marine grade epoxy.
