The Whisper Wash Surface Cleaner is a 19" hovering flatwork cleaner that comes two ways: a light Xenoy plastic cover, or a heavier powder-coated aluminum cover built for hot water and higher flow. Both run a rebuildable swivel and a balanced spray bar. Made in the USA. Key Features Two cover options: Lighter, cheaper Xenoy plastic, or spun powder-coated aluminum for hot water and heavy commercial use. Pick by your machine and your work. Rebuildable Signature swivel: The WW312 rebuilds in the field in 10 to 15 minutes with a WW311 cartridge. Its twin thrust bearings carry 2 to 4 times the bearing surface of budget swivels. Machined, balanced spray bar: Even rotation holds the tips at a consistent angle, so you clean without zebra striping. It's the only balanced, machined bar in the class. Hovering design, no wheels: The cover floats on a nylon brush skirt about 1.5" off the surface, so tip height stays set on uneven concrete. Aluminum break-apart handle: Two-piece handle breaks down for storage and transport. Made in the USA: Built in St. Petersburg, FL, with a 1-year limited warranty. Specifications Same 19" cleaner, two covers. Here's what differs between them. What's Included Cover in your choice of Xenoy plastic or powder-coated aluminum Balanced spray bar, 2-tip standard (aluminum on Classic, stainless on Extreme Duty) WW312 Signature swivel and heavy-duty nylon brush skirt Two-part aluminum handle Trigger gun, quick-connect plug and socket, and 6 ft whip hose Two 1/4" MEG 2502 nozzles (call 561-314-0761 to match tips to higher flow) Built for pressure washers rated 4 GPM or greater at 2,000 to 4,000 PSI. Match the cleaner to your machine's GPM, not its PSI. A 19" wants about 4 to 5.5 GPM. Push the light plastic Classic much past 8 to 9 GPM and it starts to lift, so operators weight it down. The aluminum Extreme Duty runs hotter and carries higher flow. Neither is a soft wash tool. Don't run SH or chemicals through either. Both have aluminum in the wetted path, and sodium hypochlorite corrodes aluminum. The Extreme Duty's stainless spray bar is a hot-water and durability upgrade, not a chemical one. Run SH through a dedicated 12V or poly chemical system instead. How It Works The cleaner installs downstream of your trigger gun by quick-connect. Water runs through the whip into the swivel at top center and spins the balanced spray bar up to 2,500 RPM. The angled 1/4" MEG tips ride about 1.5" above the surface and clean a 19" path while the cover and nylon skirt hold overspray in. There's no water recovery on these models. A small weep from the swivel weep holes is normal. A shooting stream means the seals need a rebuild with the WW311 cartridge. Don't let the unit sit still on wood or other soft surfaces. Pairs Well With Heavy Duty Ball Valve 3/8" High Pressure Jumper Hose Titan 18 Electric Hose Reel Pressure Washer Tip Set Whisper Wash Big Guy 28" Surface Cleaner Frequently Asked Questions What size pressure washer do I need for a 19" surface cleaner? Match it to GPM, not PSI. A 4 GPM machine runs the 19", and the sweet spot is about 4 to 5.5 GPM. Go too high on the plastic Classic and it lifts off the surface. For 5.5 GPM and up, step up to a 24" or 28" cleaner. Plastic or aluminum cover, which should I buy? The plastic Classic is lighter and cheaper, good for cold water and lighter routes. The aluminum Extreme Duty handles hot water up to 212°F, takes more abuse, and its extra weight helps hold it down on higher-GPM machines. Its spray bar is stainless instead of aluminum. Can I run bleach or SH through the Whisper Wash Surface Cleaner? No. Both covers ride on an aluminum swivel body, and the Classic's spray bar is aluminum too. Sodium hypochlorite corrodes aluminum. These are water-only tools. Apply SH with a dedicated soft wash pump and proportioner, and flush with fresh water if chemical ever contacts the unit.
