WhisperKOOL Platinum Split Twin Ductless Cooling System Review NOTE: A qualified HVAC-R technician is required for the installation of your WhisperKOOL Platinum Twin Ductless Split System. Failure to adhere to this requirement will void the warranty. WhisperKOOL Platinum Split Twin Ductless Wine Cellar Cooling Units are designed to be installed in an aesthetically pleasing way. Perfect for glass wine walls. WhisperKOOL Platinum Split Wine Cooler Units give you the flexibility to place the evaporator and condensing units in different locations. The condensing unit can be placed up to 100ft away from the evaporator or outdoors with the purchase of exterior housing. The system is equipped with an advanced electronic control system, standard and 24V thermostat options, a UV-C light technology upgrade option, and a 2-speed fan switch that allows you to adjust the BTU/h capacity. In a WhisperKOOL split system, the evaporator and condensing unit are in separate parts, the evaporator being near the cellar and the condensing unit being outside or in an attic or utility room. A ductless split wine cellar cooler will have a visible grille, if you prefer the system to be out of sight, you can opt for the WhisperKOOL Platinum ducted split system. The choice is yours. BTU/h BTU/h 7850 - 8054 The BTU/h value range shown here is an estimate and not a guarantee. There may be instances where a cellar design requires a larger unit due to variables not included in the calculation. These variables can be building materials (such as glass, stone, concrete, etc.) that do not provide enough insulation to maintain the ideal wine cellar environment. We recommend purchasing a unit with a higher capacity to compensate for these unforeseen variables. Choosing an undersized unit may result in premature failure and may not be able to achieve your desired wine cellar temperature.
