If you're hoping to add a touch of color to a shady corner, White Nancy Dead Nettle (Lamium maculatum White Nancy) is sure to please. The silver-white foliage is neatly edged with green, and in the late spring, an explosion of pure white blooms adds to the excitement. You'll get occasional blooms throughout the summer, too. Fast-growing without being invasive, this ground cover is also pretty in pots where it will tend to cascade slightly over the rim.
