White Orchard was cultivated in the foothills of the Himalayas by over forty smallholder farmers who follow organic practices. To produce this tea, the farmers have plucked only th e youngest growth on the tea plant, known as the bud. Once plucked, the buds are withered, hand-rolled, and finally dried at a low temperature.
