The White River Zig Jig is a hand-tied marabou trout lure developed in Arkansas. It features a special offset jig head that creates a "zig-zag" motion as it sinks. This swimming motion makes it stay in the strike zone longer to trick fish into biting. Zig Jigs are famous for their unique design and effectiveness: The Shape: Unlike round jig heads that just sink straight to the bottom, the Zig Jig head is offset. As it falls through the water, this shape forces the lure to dart side-to-side. It mimics the movement of a wounded baitfish. The Materials: Each lure is hand-tied using marabou (fluffy, soft bird feathers). When the jig is pulled through the water, these feathers pulse and breathe, giving the lure lifelike action.
