Its metallic sheen, elegant body shape, and distinctive white spotting make it a standout choice for larger aquariums. Known as an "eartheater," it spends much of its time sifting through sandy substrates for food, a behavior that adds natural movement to the tank. Best kept in groups, this species thrives in soft, slightly acidic water with plenty of open space and hiding spots.
