Domaine du Trapadis - Cote du Rhone white "Petite Cote" 2024 A white Grenache full of freshness and fruit perfect for an aperitif with friends, offering both vibrancy and easy digestibility when served chilled. On the nose, aromas of white peach, acacia blossom, exotic fruits, and a touch of citrus peel are immediately captivating. It is a full-bodied and opulent white with low acidity. Chateau Grand Village White 2024 The 2024 Grand Village Blanc was picked from September 5 to 11. This has a vivacious bouquet with lime flower, honeysuckle and light wild peach notes that are beautifully defined. The palate is fresh and vibrant with a lightly spiced opening. It is delineated with just a dab of orange rind on the finish. The 2024 is irresistible. 90-92 points - Neal Martin, Vinous. 78% Sauvignon Blanc, 22% Semillon. Domaine Gavoty - Clarendon white 2021 The Rolle retains a beautiful pale color with a green reflection; the nose of fruits (pear and pineapple) is joined by notes of white flowers and a touch of honey. Its finish is lively and asks to be rounded off on a still timid structure. Prospect of evolution over 10 years. It will take a good two years for it to take on its more mineral and more complex appearance. 100% Rolle. Samuel Billaud - Bourgogne D'Or 2022 The 2022 Bourgogne d'Or, a blend between Macon Nord and Auxerrois, has a fragrant nose with hints of melted butter and yellow flowers and a touch of vanilla pod in the background. The palate is well-balanced with a pleasant "bite" on the entry, fresh and tangy, with a hint of marmalade on the finish. Neal Martin, Vinous. 100% Chardonnay. Domaine Rougeot - Bourgogne Aligote "Les Plumes" nature 2023 A touch of colour here. Just a light nuttiness. My first thought is that this wine made with no sulphur additions is lightly oxidative but experience of Les Plumes suggests that this soon disappears. Really complex, with citrus notes forming a backbone with ripe apples round the edges. This wine did indeed freshen up rapidly with exposure to air. 90 points - Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy. 100% Aligoté. Domaine Gauby - Calcinaires white 2023 Nose with notes of grapefruits, plum, orange blossom and honeysuckle. The palate has big volume with sumptuous texture and a refreshing and lingering finish. The first white of the Gauby family, incredible value for money. 50% Grenache Blanc, 20% Macabeu, 30% Chardonnay Domaine Sparr - Pinot Blanc "Pensee" 2023 Expressive nose of melon and Asian pears with a touch of minty freshness. It has a succulent and silky medium-bodied palate. Behind this is good structure and a wonderfully animating acidity. From biodynamically grown grapes with Demeter certification. Drink or hold. 93 points, James Suckling. 100% Pinot Blanc Domaine Tabordet - Pouilly-Fume "Champs de Chaumes" 2021 It has a beautiful golden yellow color. On the nose, we discover an intense aromatic bouquet brought by the Sauvignon. Citrus and white fruit notes mingle. On the palate the wine is well balanced, with aromas of citrus, apricot and peach. 100% Sauvignon Blanc. Domaine Sparr - Riesling 'Altenbourg' 2022 The enveloping nose of ripe pear pulls you inexorably into this generous dry riesling that marries ample fruit with a wonderful freshness.
