Named after the ancient Whittlewood forest in Northamptonshire, the Whittlewood is our modern take on a traditional French farmhouse table. The sharply tapered legs sit flush against the rails, giving it a clean and contemporary feel. When made with the optional drawer, the drawer front is cut from the same piece of timber as the rail it sits in, so that the grain flows seamlessly. We make extending versions of this table for extra seating flexibility. The largest size of Whittlewood table (un-extended) that we offer in our collections will comfortably seat 10 people. We love making the Whittlewood table in contrasting timbers such Ash and Walnut. We offer an extending version of this table with separately stored leaves. Please contact us if you are interested in an extending version of our Whittlewood table so that we can work out a quote for you.
