The background is made from reports looking at war crimes, weapons of mass destruction, pollution stats etc. I used pieces of of vintage fabric & embroidery, then hand stitched the word why in a floral manner- to suggest asking why, to question is the first step to trying to understand where or how I could help make changes/ challenge / bring awareness.
