Trim it every time you use your candle and make sure it isn't longer than 1/4” – the same length as when new. This will allow the top layer of wax to fully melt, ensuring even burning when next lighting it. Wax has a memory pool so it is important not to skip this step to make sure you get the most even burning out of your candle. 𝗗𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗹𝗲 𝗷𝗮𝗿To clean the jar when your candle has completely burnt down about 1/2” wax left, allow the jar to cool, (make sure you do not do this while the glass is still very hot), get a spoon, scoop out any left over wax, wipe with warm water and a towel.
