Shanxi, circa 1900 Wider than most similar pieces, this lovely, weathered elm stool would work well as a side table next to a sofa, or perhaps as a window seat. The A-frame legs ar e supported by double stretchers and fit directly with tenons into the underside of the thick, weathered seat.
