This setup is ideal for extra-light widebody paddles that need more mass to unlock their performance. It improves stability, fixes balance, and adds controlled plow-through while keeping the paddle playable and quick in the hands. This is my go-to setup for widebody paddles that come super light stock. Think paddles like the Vatic Pro V-Sol Pro Bloom, Ronbus Quanta R2, or Franklin C45 Tempo. What you'll need: Four 3-gram weighted strips One 6g Cap Coin Overgrip Placement: Put two strips just under the top corners Put two strips just above the bottom corners Put the Cap Coin at the bottom of the handle This gives the paddle the bigger weight bump it needs while spreading mass around the head. The result is a more connected feel with a sweet spot that feels like it has no dead zones. The 6g Cap Coin offsets some of the added head weight, helping maintain hand speed and maneuverability. What it changes: Increases swingweight by ~7 points Boosts twistweight by ~1 point Fine tuning: If it feels too heavy, slide the top weights down about an inch. If it still feels too light, add a small amount of weight to the very tip. Small adjustments make a big difference. Finish it off with an overgrip to keep your handle fresh and dialed in.
