Wild caught Betta Brownorum from Sibu From the Betta Coccina Complex. Male of this species has an intense red with a green iridescent spot on the body and longer anal fins while females have shorter finnage and less intense coloration. The difference we noticed with this location is that a few have a much larger spot than other brownorum locations we've encountered. Absolutely beautiful. Spot size varies but I'm sure there can be some in their offsprings. IUCN Red List: Vulnerable (Threatened and facing a high risk of extinction in the wild) Basic Information Temperament: Moderately aggressive, males can be territorial when establishing breeding grounds. However, because of their small size, you can keep multiples pairs as long as you have enough space and cover. Expect fin nipping. Recommended 1 pair per 5 gal.
