Replace the wooden lid securely and carefully tip the bottle slightly to infuse the lid with fragrance oil. There are holes where the string is threaded through so make sure contents doesn’t leak out. You can either replace the plastic stopper each time you infuse the lid to avoid any spills or simply make sure the wooden lid is always secure - note that the lid may come loose as the wooden lid infuses with fragrance oil.
