A side table is a small, freestanding surface placed beside seating or at the end of a sofa to hold drinks, lamps, or decorative objects. Also called an end table or accent table, it typically stands 22 to 30 inches tall and occupies less floor space than a coffee table, making it ideal for compact rooms or layered furniture arrangements. What You Get With the Currey & Co Wilderness Drinks Table Stem-Like Cast Aluminum Base -- the single-column structure rises from a round foot to support the marble top, creating a vertical silhouette that saves floor area. Green Forest Marble Top -- highly active veining and natural color variation ensure each table is unique, and the rough-cut edge preserves the stone's organic character. Antique Brass Finish -- the hand-applied patina shows the pitting and texture inherent to cast metal, adding tactile interest and warmth to the metallic surface. Compact 10-Inch Diameter -- the round top fits between lounge chairs, beside beds, or in corner arrangements where larger tables would intrude. 15-Pound Weight -- light enough to reposition but stable enough to support glassware and books without tipping. Where Do You Place a Round Marble Top Side Table? Position the Wilderness drinks table between paired armchairs in a living room, flanking a reading chair in a study, or as a bedside surface in a master suite where its narrow footprint won't block walking paths. Pair it with other accent tables in mixed materials to create visual variety, or use two as symmetrical anchors on either side of a sofa. Frequently Asked Questions What is the difference between a side table and an end table? The terms are interchangeable; both describe small tables placed beside seating, though "end table" often refers to pieces at the ends of a sofa while "side table" is the broader category. What height should a side table be next to a sofa? A side table should sit within two inches of the sofa arm height -- typically 22 to 30 inches -- so you can comfortably reach items without leaning; the Wilderness table stands 22.5 inches. How do you style a side table? Layer a table lamp or sculptural object for height, add a small tray to corral remotes or coasters, and include one organic element such as a potted plant or stack of books to balance function and decoration. Does this table ship free? Yes, LOOMLAN provides free shipping to the continental United States with no minimum order on all furniture and decor. Will the marble veining match the product photo exactly? No, Green Forest marble is a natural stone with unique veining and color shifts in every slab, so your table will show its own pattern -- expect variation within the green-and-white palette. Is assembly required? The table ships fully assembled; simply unpack and position it in your space.
