This Bottled In Bond small batch straight Bourbon Whiskey from the Wilderness Trail distillery in Kentucky comprises of a rye mash bill at 64% corn, 24% rye and 12% malted barley a nd is one of the highest ratios of rye used in Bourbon made in Kentucky. It’s matured in toasted and charred barrels (12 in total!) and the result is sweet & spicy bourbon that slips down a treat. On the nose expect charred wood with hint of sweetness. The palate offers a touch of citrus peel, oakiness, sweet stewed berries and vanilla. The finish has a warming cinnamon spice and further fruit. Show more
