It seems everyone is trying their hand at growing plants, herbs, and flowers these days. Who can blame them? The satisfaction of watching something you’ve planted bloom is like no other. When we buy seeds, we often don’t need all of them, so consider sharing some with a loved one. I found myself in this situation recently and didn’t want to just hand my friend a crumpled seed packet. To make the presentation a little extra special, I decided to create my own packaging. First, I cut a piece of cardstock to fit inside a glassine envelope. Next, I glued dried flowers to the cardstock, and inserted it into the envelope. I added a selection of seeds to the envelope and sealed it with a strip of tape. To finish, I created a little label to identify the seeds, and adhered it to the envelope. This is a simple project that is sure to brighten someone’s day. This would also make a great favor for a shower or garden party.
