The Soft Animals collection celebrates the poetry of life, femininity, and nature. Each print reflects a different facet of the female experience - tenderness, strength, softness, and introspection. Wildflower, the first print in the series, was inspired by the poem Girlhood by Cecily Parks. The print comes in two editions: Single Forget-me-not Edition – 20 prints, featuring a pressed forget-me-not tucked behind the woman’s ear. Shower of Forget-me-nots Edition – 10 prints, with a cascade of blooms. Each piece is printed on delicate Japanese ho-sho paper, a soft, slightly translucent paper with a subtle texture. Real pressed forget-me-nots are incorporated into the print, creating a tactile, almost living quality - you can feel the gentle embossing of petals and the delicate texture of the paper. Each print is numbered and stamped with my makers' mark. and together they form a meditation on femininity, poetry, and the quiet power of nature.
