Wildflowers 02 er et værk inspireret af naturens egen rytme frit, organisk og balanceret i sit udtryk. Som barn var jeg i skoven med mine bedsteforældre, som er botanikere, for at finde, plukke og presse blomster. Værket her er en hyldest til min mormor og morfar. Værket er skåret i håndlavet papir med en flot struktur. Bagved det råhvide papirklip er en petroleumsblå baggrund. Håndlavet i Aarhus med stor præcision og respekt for materialets enkelhed - skabt som et tidløst værk, der bringer naturens poesi, ro og karakter ind i rummet. Værket måler 77x110 cm. Wildflowers 02 is a piece inspired by nature’s own rhythm - free, organic, and balanced in its expression. As a child, I spent time in the forest with my grandparents, both botanists, searching for, picking, and pressing wildflowers. This work is a tribute to my grandmother and grandfather - and to those quiet moments of wonder in nature. The piece is hand-cut from handmade paper with a beautiful tactile texture. Set behind the warm off-white papercut is a deep petroleum blue background, creating depth, contrast, and a rich sense of calm. Handmade in Aarhus with great precision and respect for the simplicity of the material, it is created as a timeless work - bringing nature’s poetry, tranquillity, and character into a space.
