The camera's 1/4" x 20 tripod insert is located on the bottom of the camera. As you would expect, this camera does not have a cable bracket as locking this unit would be nearly impossible when used the way it is designed. The case of the camera has a solid, sturdy feel. The latch is small and feels a bit flimsy. The batteries are located in a removable tray on the bottom of the camera. The SD card removes easily and is located well. There is no external battery jack. Programming the camera uses the traditional Wildgame setup. The writing is small and the LCD screen is rudimentary by today's standards. Programming is not difficult, though, so you shouldn't have trouble getting the camera up and running.
