The Wilesco D16 is a timeless steam engine model from which you can expect many years of steam fun. Its brass kettle is highly polished and nickel-plated, and has a kettle capacity of 250 cm³ with a diameter of 55 mm and a length of 140 mm. This gives the D16 enough power to operate various accessories at the same time. The brass kettle also offers you a water level indicator designed as a sight glass. The boiler house is designed with a brick pattern, on each side of the boiler house one of the two catwalks leads, on the side facing the boiler a small ladder leads to the catwalks. The double-acting, fixed brass cylinder of this model steam engine is equipped with a flywheel that can be turned in both directions. Of course, the D16 should not be without a spring safety valve either. The steam whistle with chain hoist and the steam shut-off hand wheel valve allow you to control the steam output of this power machine. Other high-quality features of the Wilesco D16 are a flywheel with a diameter of 80 mm with a line roller and solid, elegant die-cast rods, a centrifugal regulator, a steam jet oiler and the gallery rod. This steam engine model weighs 1.8 kg and its chimney smokes true to the original. The steam engine runs on solid fuel. The boiler of the D16 heats up quickly and the entire linkage always runs smoothly, in any infinitely variable position of the steam valve controller.
