The D3 is the smallest fuel operated steam engine in the Wilesco range, it measures 16 x 12.5 cm with a 50 cm³ boiler capacity. The two sight glasses show the water level. With a full water tank, the D3 requires small breaks in operation to build up enough steam power. Once the water level reaches half full, the model is ready for continuous operation with its characteristic noise.
