I think that my background as a writer and teacher would be of great benefit to the proposal team. I have worked in the publishing field in editing and solicitation, which meant I was able to adapt and correct various types of texts. I also hold a Masters of Fine Arts in poetry from Columbia University; this entailed working closely with a small group of other writers and mentors wherein I learned how to give and receive constructive criticism in addition to honing my own writing skills. I am used to working with various teams as well as planning for and managing students of various ages and backgrounds.
