The Bard William Shakespeare (in mouse form). The Church Mouse is now getting well above his station. Dressing up and running free in the Cathedral is one thing, but now he dares t o take on the guise of one of the world’s most celebrated poets and playwrights. Wearing period attire, with a quill in one hand and a scroll in the other, he certainly looks the part. Yet, despite his lofty ambitions, he remains a humble mouse — hard done by, living quietly within the Cathedral walls, dreaming of a better life and a new home away from the shadows of the choir stalls. Each Church Mouse is cast in resin from a mould taken directly from the original hand-carved sculpture. They are not wooden carvings, though their carefully finished surface reflects the warmth and character of aged oak. Produced in small batches with great care and attention to detail, some pieces are made to order, so please allow 3–4 days before dispatch. Show more
