Williams Model Number 1 Serial 0488 Made in 1892, with only second year of production. Mechanically condition: Typewriter was restored to working order mechanically. But it is sold as a Display and not for typing. Mechanism working fine with only one issue that paper feeds to one direction and cant be reversed back. Ink will always need to be reinked if you wish to use and expect prints. Cosmetic Condition: Age signs on the typewriter are normal and pictures will show a lot of details of the aging frame. Happy to send more if needed. No case or base and will be supplied with a new pad. History: Belonged to a lady in Liverpool Area in the UK , and she passed it to us in 2019 as she mentioned that he grand mother had it from new and passed it through the family. Show more
