Smelts are probably the most popular and widely used Pike bait of all. They have a distinctive scent all of their own. They are commonly known as Cucumber Smelts and that is exactl y what they smell like. All of our Smelts are caught in English waters, and not imported. Our Smelts are landed and we vacuum pack them all within hours of capture, then blast frozen to ensure they remain in tip top condition. Smelts can deteriorate very fast and we make sure our smelts reach you, the angler, in the best possible condition. Frozen dead bait. Ideal for sea fishing, pike and specimen fish. Please note in warm temperatures they may defrost slightly, however the packs are vacuum packed so will remain fresh. Please re-freeze immediately and defrost prior to use. Show more
